Memorial trail

We followed a forest trail from the holiday parc. At the end of the trail is a memorial museum for all the people led away from the Netherlands in 1940-1945, going to death camps. At the site next to the museum was at that time a camp where people from all over the Netherlands were gathered, they stayed a while and then loaded onto the trains to Auschwitz, Sobibor and the other camps.

Today we went up and down the trail. Alongside the trail are signs with dates. With every date is mentioned how many went on the train and with what destination.
