Swimming, finally!

Super organised campers this year. Arrived in the lakes by 12, tent up, gear unpacked and paddleboard inflated and we were out on the water by 1.30!

The afternoon involved lots of paddling and swimming, and a paddleboard rescue by C & I of a lady and her 2 young kids who had drifted to the other side of the lake but were literally going round in circles trying to get back. After a failed attempt of a paddleboard lesson in the end I paddled her board back with her kids and C took the lady back on ours, much to the amusement of her other half who was waiting on the shoreline!

BBQ this evening, just before the rain started, still managed to toast a few marshmallows before giving up and retreating to our warm, dry tent!
