In the shadows

We both went up to the allotment, D strimming (the grass!) me picking and weeding (the weeds!). Found a handful of green beans, including some runners - but was actually pulling up handfuls of huge weeds around the teepees when I noticed these borlottis, in the depths of the foliage and quite low down. Had to just poke the camera in there and snap blind.

Quite a difference with Fergus in Casentino, whose crop I noticed is already ripened and dried!
