Spoot tide

I'm assuming they were hunting spoots, I never asked but it is normally what folk with buckets away way out at low tide and walking backwards are doing.

There are times that this looks like a vaguely entertaining enterprise but not on day when it's so bitterly cold. My fingers were numb and I had only opened the car window for a minute or two to take some pics. I hope they came home with bucketfuls of spoots for all their effort.
