Greetings!

This bit of mosaic is in the hallway where my doctor has his surgery.  I was there for my consultation after my blood tests last week + some "bonus" tests.

Long story short:- kidneys, liver, pancreas, heart & lungs are all in good working order ("im grünen Bereich" as we say here).  It's just the chemistry in my head that is kaputt.  

Oh and as a bonus for being such a good patient, I've been booked in for a colonoscopy at the end of October.  I would have settled for a Xmas card a few weeks later but I wasn't offered the choice.  Joking aside this is just a preventative measure to check that everything in my innards could be eaten by a zombie without risking its health.

"Salve" is apparently the Latin for "hello".  I'll take my dictionary's word for it, I wouldn't know - I've never learned any Latin and I'm quite glad.  German has 4 cases, Latin has 6 and Englisch has a couple of cases to take on holiday while not giving a hoot about grammar.
