Landscape With Swifts

You will have to look quite closely to see them but there are a bunch of swifts in there.

There is, as far as I know, no specific collective noun for swifts.  We could coin one - a rush of swifts? A swoop of swifts?  I'm sure you have better ideas than I do.

I don't know how I managed to take this in B+W.  The perils of going blipping without your glasses.  Still, I'm not unhappy with the effect - especially the sun through the trees top left.

A good walk with my pal B this afternoon - trying and failing to explain cricket (again).  People will have to believe me that a game that can last 5 days and still end up a draw, can still be a tremendously exciting game.

It was lovely and warm outside - a very pleasant 25°C.  And I've just realised it is September, that means there's an "He Always Blips Those" Blip coming up quite soon.
