Summer bows out

So here we are in September. Maybe some more nice weather to come but certainly the end of the flowering season. I think this little patch of 'gone over' weeds is probably not attracting too many butterflies just now. Rather symbolic of the season's demise. 

I usually welcome the change as we slip into Autumn but there is so much uncertainty in our world at the moment, who knows what the months ahead will bring. 

Hope you've all had a good start to the week. My work day has depleted me... I don't think I can even browse tonight... will catch up tomorrow.
