Red Kite over Brecons

This is actually from yesterday's ride to the Brecons, but didn't come off the camera until this morning. I don't think I will beat it today.

It was a lovely ride out, running in the new tyres. Halfway there the tyre pressure sensors went into alarm, as the fitter had over inflated the tyres and they heated up on the, um, enthusiastic ride, sending the pressure up above the threshold. This morning's job was to let some air out and reset the sensors.

To capture Wide and well as Wild Wednesday I've added an extra of the Brecons near the Usk reservoir, as well as today's shot of a Southern Hawker dragonfly sneakily hiding eggs in the capstones of the pond, away from the hungry koi!
