You can't be too careful

When you don't get along with your fam.

Nest (a foundling) begat Truffle (a thief) who begat Cleo (a charming psychopath). 

Cleo wages unceasing war upon  her grandmother and will pursue and attack her on sight. (No idea why)

Nest treads a wary path at all times in and around the house. The barn roof doubles as a vantage point and a getaway route if needed.
