Froglet (Rana temporaria)

Tomorrow is likely to be hectic as we pack and "the Mate" comes ready for us setting of early (hopefully) on Friday for a trip on Solace.   So I made a visit to Kanyl.  In one of the periods of lighter rainI had a wander round his garden looking for blips.

As I was standing beside his pond there was a movement beside my foot.  Looking down I saw this little froglet.  His garden at this time of year is alive with them.  The pond must provide great conditions for tadpoles to grow, you can barely take a step without there being movement as a result.
