Austin Healey 3000 Mk II

I was going to post a very pleasant photo of Susan walking down a leafy dappled avenue of walnut trees or an equally nice shot of Susan standing by some loosestrife looking out over Mallards Lake.

This was until our recently new friends arrived in their open topped sports car for afternoon tea in the garden. A very fine classic car which they’d had some 20 years.

The warm sunny weather of the morning had given away to a cloudy and breezy afternoon. We persevered outside, wrapped up, enjoying the conversation, soft and hard drinks, carrot, courgette and cheddar muffins and the tea cakes I made yesterday.

We saw them off, as you can see, in the dry. Just as we were tidying up it started spitting. I hope they got back home without getting wet or putting up the roof.
