Hosing down

Today we hosed down the house and cleaned the windows.

The dust and dirt hidden in the nooks and crannies is a reminder of some horrific events of the last few months. The black dirt is soot from the bush fires in January. The red dust is top soil from the drought stricken properties out west, swept up from the bare paddocks and carried away in windstorms.

We hope we don’t see either the black or the red dust again.
