Back blipped on 3rd September

We have had a long, and at times quite stressful couple of days driving through Europe, but are now safely ensconced in my older daughter's house in Sweden.

We had an early start to the day, involving an almost complete "repack" of the car to get in the paste table temporarily forgotten yesterday.

Then an easy drive down to Harwich for the 0900 ferry.  A long, boring trip across the North Sea, arriving at Hoek van Holland at 1600 (UK) time, 1700 by local time.  We set off towards our night accommodation, aware that we needed to recharge relatively soon.

Whilst preparing for this trip, W had found an app called "A better route planner" and this, after a fight bit of hassle, found us an Ionity charger near a McDonald's.  A recharge with Ionity is a bit expensive,  but all worked as intended, which was fortunate as the battery was getting a bit low by then.  And we recharged with some chips to accompany sandwiches brought from home, using the car bonnet as a table.

We arrived safely, though rather late, at our hotel for the night.  No WiFi, but I was too tired to care.
