Wound up in Wexford

Astrantia

Today, we visited the Beth Chatto Garden, and amazingly, despite severe temptation, we came away empty handed.  Though with lots of photos and thoughts.  Although we've visited a number of times, we always seem to see something new.

Today, we particularly noticed the astrantia, they would make a lovely addition to any garden.  We were also taken by the yellow crocosmia - aptly named Norwich Canary.

Afterwards, a gentle drive back through Dedham took us past a rather splendid church in Stratford St Mary, (see extra) though reading about it, I gather the inside is excessively "Victorianised"
