FlotsamThe beach appeared to be clean of any litter and jetsam but there were several items of flotsam.  Several logs had been washed up onto the beach and these branches were arranged into a sort of sculpture with a flock of geese just visible in the distance resting on the sea edge, perhaps on their migration south.  Lobster pots had been washed ashore by the recent strong easterly winds and a buoy with a label stating “Crown Estate” with a number and the name “Janus” lay high on the beach.   It was very pleasant watching gannets from nearby Bass Rock diving for fish off shore while gulls followed a couple of fishing returning to Dunbar.       (Thankyou for all the stars and hearts for yesterday)
