Ribble Valley

Friday 4th September 2020

Time for Mum to set off home but we took the scenic scenic route. In other words, we went cross country via Skipton but deviated from the main road and meandered through the Ribble valley etc. 

First stop was Ribchester to capture this lovely view and see the Roman Baths. We then travelled via Clitheroe Castle (we didn't stop), Waddington and stopped for lunch by the bridge at Bolton by Bowland. We also went via the Harrogate road and over the top of the moor down into Otley and, avoiding the main road again, up over Otley Chevin. Mum has seen quite a bit of different countryside this week. 

One evening left and we're going to have a treat with a Chinese take away.
