Snowy hillside

A reverse view from one of my favourite viewpoints. Normally on this walk along Loch Striven, I take photos in the other direction, looking at the parallel shadows cast on the road by the fence, contrasting the trees on one hand with the blue loch on the other. Today, however, I felt that the whiteness of the hillside - which faces northish - stood out in an otherwise gloomy afternoon and changed the whole aspect of this bit of the walk.

We were there again because of an easterly wind - this was pretty sheltered.
