Journeyman

Green Green Grass Of Home

Had a catch-up with old friends today and visited the sight of my childhood home. It's no longer standing but this was the view from my garden when I was growing up, brought back a lot of happy memories for us all. The trees now block the Old Kilpatrick hills in the background and the bridge over the River Clyde can just be seen on the right of the picture.

My album of the day is "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath. Guitar riffs courtesy of Iommi, a rhythm section of Ward and Butler alongside a deranged vocalist, this was the equivalent of a musical juggernaut in 1970. My vivid memory is Ozzy on TOTP and the black and white spiral Vertigo label spinning on my turntable.
