Over and under

Met my friend from over 50 years ago for the first time since last December. We had lunch outside at a local cafe and plenty of chat to catch up on our respective families and experiences. Much water has passed under many bridges since our last get together.

Susan went to the osteopath while we were out to try and find some help with a sore hip and some lower back pain. She was impressed by the osteopath who said that she was a bit twisted (but we knew that anyway!)

We managed a walk around Mote Park where today’s blip for MonoMonday - under and over - was taken. These are blocks being used to build a retaining wall to strengthen the dam that holds back Mote Lake. There is a real concern that the dam may fail leading to huge body of water sweeping down to the Medway through the town. Thank you to Black Tulip for hosting.

At the end of the walk Susan ended up at her mum’s to cook her dinner and other tasks while I came home at made ours.
