A Queen Slept Here

Mary, Queen of Scots, that is.  We had a walk in the garden, no one was about apart from one guy who went round shaking the pear trees and collecting a good haul. Jedburgh used to export pears to the markets of London, back in the day.

As usual our pear trees have produced nothing, though the apples are cropping in abundance.
