Mandolin

The midges by the Lough on Darden Pike were obviously ravenous when we walked past yesterday! This morning my face and neck were covered in raised, red, itchy blotches... trying not to scratch. We were only there for a few minutes! MrM is obviously not so tasty...

Good to see Philip and S, who came to lunch. The plan was to talk about mandolins briefly, and then to go up to the Common in search of red squirrels, as they would really like to see some. But it turned into an interminably long conversation about the minutiae of mandolins, after which it was too late for the walk! C'est la vie!

Later in the afternoon a phone 'interview' with Marcus, who is based in Berlin. It was part of a market research exercise by Babbel - quite lengthy (40 mins), but interesting, and it should add 3 months to my subscription. After that, thought I'd better do a little French Babbeling, as I've neglected it over the last few days.

Only took a couple of photos today, and this is one of them - a mandolin ready to be sent to its new owner. MrM wanted some shots taken in the workshop.
