Another day ...

.... another darter. This time its a male Common Darter. Probably the most obliging of all dragonflies it seems oblivious to my presence and that of the spaniel. Or perhaps it just doesn't care, confident that its lightning fast reactions, flight speed and maneuverability can outwit any potential predator.
