The purpose of this blip is not specifically to progress a conversation I was having with Arachne last week about chopping boards and bottle openers, but more specifically to open the door to the internet to allow me to write on it.

WTF does the Govt. think it's playing at?
Did they fail to notice that last time one of their number chose to flout the agreed rules huge swathes of general public chose to follow suit?
What on earth is the point of making a promise of recruiting huge numbers of additional police officers if the Govt. then states publicly that it's going to stick two fingers up at the law?

I'm too furious/astonished to play with words. Is this honestly what was meant by “Getting Brexit Done”? Ripping up the homework and going out to play instead?
