Home now!

We had to leave the Cottage by 11:00 but left earlier to go for a last walk round The Botanic Gardens.  One of my favourite places.  There are so many ducks, swans : birds of all sorts!  There is an aviary and the Parrots are very friendly, some come to have their photo taken!  Probably disappointed that I didn't have any food for them!  On the way out of Southport we passed where Ro used to work: the heap of earth with poppies growing along the fence!  The little wooden mouse lives in the cottage!

I would recommend this place for being beautiful and pristine.  I was a bit apprehensive as to what we would find but this was great!  

Home via Costco for petrol and after lunch and a nap we did our usual walk!  Even in Bolton the sky is blue but with some dark clouds too!

It was really good to have a break!  Hope the next one is not too far away!
