Bagillt

I heard a whisper that there were dragons  at an SSSI site at the old Bettisfield colliery in Bagilt. It was a good enough reason to go for a recce. There were dragons, but not the settling kind and way too fast for me, but a lovely area for a mooch. It overlooks the Dee estuary with views across to the Wirral and there's a small harbour and lots of blackberries too. Another new place to add to my list.
