Figgy

I couldn't resist a box of 10 figs on sale at the supermarket today. I love figs! And a fig made for a good, fairly macro, blip. This is with the standard 28mm prime.

This was part of the haul I brought back from shopping, including a trip to George Bowers, Mellis (no pies) and the supermarket.

I forgot to say, earlier in the week, that we are getting the M6 repaired (at a fairly high cost), and Mr A plans to attach one of these same primes to it, and use it as a macro lens and prime. He's been very busy today. His take home exam arrived this morning, and he worked on it assiduously and uploaded it this afternoon. He could take several more days over it, but I think he did the right thing in treating it pretty much as an exam. Other than that, he has largely been trying to free himself from Facebook's clutches (and data  grabbing) without losing touch with people with whom he communicates via messenger. That means a new, basically empty, account and the deletion of the old one, as deleting posts from the old one really doesn't work.

Later on, whilst Mr A was preparing an interesting, but delicious, "tagine" with cauliflower and lentils that tasted more Indian than North African, I sorted out one of our big pots of lilies into one big pot and two smaller ones. I may need more compost before finishing that job.

It seems to have been all go here, without really going anywhere....
