Art Deco at the Seaside

Well...what a treat today was!!  M and I met B at The Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts at the UEA in Norwich to see their wonderful 'Art Deco at the Seaside' exhibition.  It was fab, some great paintings and posters, examples of furniture, clothes and artefacts from this stylish era.  The main photo depicts a moment at the lido and the extras are an oil painting called 'On the Beach' by Robert Duckworth Greenham painted in 1934, and a poster for four of the A class locomotives used to whisk the public away to their UK holiday destinations (this poster is especially for fellow blipper and train enthusiast JohnRH).
M and I then drove into Norwich for a spot of shopping and a fab lunch at The Ivy, where appropriately we ate a most delicious fish pie stuffed with lobster, prawns, scallops and salmon.
