Gull In A Tutu

I got stuck into admin this morning and took Ollie dog for a walk at Fishers Green after lunch. We saw loads of willow emerald damselflies, it's amazing how they've colonised this area so quickly. (Extras) When I spotted my first at Amwell Nature Reserve in September 2015 they were quite rare. The first had been seen locally only the previous year.

Ollie dog sat nicely under a tree while I hunted for dragons. (Extras) We had a good chat with a friendly woman who I hadn't seen since before lockdown and then stood on the decking over Seventy Acres Lake. I shot the above juvenile black-headed gull which looks to me as though it is wearing a tutu.
