Momentous!

Day one at school!! This was the best pic I could do as he really wasn't having any of it when it came to photographs!! He was suuuuper positive all the way to school...but as the teacher came to the gate to collect them and take their temperatures, he faltered and we had many tears. But he came out happy later and Maria said he'd done well. I think the torrential rain added to the general drama and strangeness of everything - it all felt fraught. BUT I'm so glad he had fun...hopefully tomorrow will be better. We'll see! We went for celebratory crêpes afterwards, and then on to buy up Decathlon's stock of sleeping bags for homeless friends. Then out to see some new graffiti in town...bumped into a homeless friend we've not seen for a while, so that was really good. 
Home for chilling, creating a canvas for Letesia's upcoming birthday, cooking a spaghetti bol with soy mince, and seeing a friend who popped by. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Nate beginning this new journey pretty well all things considered. 
2) Spag bol comfort food.
3) Charlie and Michelle's flying visit.
