Back To School!

An excited start to the day with the kids looking forward to getting back to school. When we arrived both the small kids gate and the big kids gate had been decorated with balloons and a big welcome banner! Such a lovely thing to do, Nate felt like he was at a party! He said they'd put balloons round the classroom too. 
Soooo great to have a morning without the kids knowing they were both happy where they were. Got some jobs done that couldn't be sorted with the kids hanging round. It felt like a productive time!
Strange news this afternoon for one of the prison guys...a main witness for the prosecution has pulled out. Good in that our guys case is hopefully stronger and the truth will come out, but bad because everything drags on so much longer. It was all due to start on Monday!
A late afternoon drink with Sara (& bumped into Marcial). Always a good time with her...

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Lovely memories of a good friend, Biddy's son, Matt. 
2) Happy kids going off to school...and a thoughtful school welcoming them back so well.
3) A morning mix of creativity and cleaning.
