American No 1

This 144 ft fishing factory (catches and processes fish and crab) was built in Seattle in 1979 to fish in the Bering Sea.    It’s in Dry dock on Lake Union now….very close to shore…so worth a photo  (plus the extra)  seen on our walk as far as the bakery for bread, pastries and a few cookies.  Many of the vessels operating by American Seafoods have been infected with Covid cases in spite of safety procedures.
The air was hazy but no worse than yesterday I didn’t think.   We have been warned the terrible smoke from Oregon and Northern California is arriving here tomorrow…. with instructions to not go out, and how to build a box fan that filters the air around you.  (?)   Whew, we are set for keeping out that smokey air, but it's hard to imagine all those that cannot escape or who have lost homes or been evacuated.    2020 is a  nightmare year.

And..... So much brand new horrid stuff on our President, (how can it get ever worse?..he says he wanted to downplay the pandemic....) … why doesn’t he just resign, like would happen if this was a TV program?
