Dinner on the Deck

Some more nice weather today for our day picking up Fiona from school this year, After ice cream and grocery store ( she likes to go!). we came home to : Milkshake, books, play, as close as she’s ever gotten to learning to knit ( isn’t that what grandmas are supposed to do?) an elaborate drawing of a new family of 8 , and planning for a mural on the deck wall behind her ( if we have more nice Tuesday’s we’ll paint it) pizza on the deck, strawberry shortcake, a performance, and home.

Oskar broke his thumb in last nights football game.. first play... so we two grandparents are relieved he’s safe for at least 5 weeks! . :-)

The activity around here is too much for me...more errands in the car...too many cars ( at least we’re not burning gas) .... that little electric motor the kids use on the inflatable was recalled and delivered as it leaks and could have exploded we’re told....! ....I have to seriously work on simplifying after this week. Hate not having time right now to play with photos and my course.
