Let sleeping dog and cat lie

The dogs have only been allowed outside to do their business for the past three days and then have to come right back inside because the outside air has too much smoke and ash from the fires. They get it. The cats don’t. They don’t understand that they can’t go out at all. They have their litter box so there is no need for them to go out.
So we play in the house. And nap in the house. This is Bali and Buddy snoozing on the bed. I think I’ll let the sleeping dog and cat lie.
