Potato Chips

These chips, from Barcelona, are really, really good. They actually use small bits of black truffle (as opposed to oil chemically flavored to taste truffle-like).

These served as a snack while we waited for a delivered dinner, then as an accompaniment. This is certainly not standard for a Friday night, but we spent the evening (and night) participating in our first live (online—very covid friendly) wine auction. We are pleased to have won two and a half cases worth of wine, including six bottled of a 1995 St. Émilion from a favorite winery. We also enjoyed a great Santa Barbara GSM during the proceedings.
