Make Every Day Memorable

The Secret Mill

We drove over the Keswick this morning as we had arranged a mini blip meet with Marpaul and her lovely collie Misty.
They took us for an amble along the shores of Bassenthwaite where Misty enjoyed most of the time in the water. M and I shared stories of our dog boarding days, agreeing that the job had highs and some very stressful lows. Both of us are pleased to have more time for photography these days.
While in the area I wanted to try and find a new location, one that I have only recently heard of. It involved a bit of a walk so before the rain came in for the rest of the day, we said our goodbyes and set off in search of "The Secret Mill"
As is evident we found it, perched above a fast running gill and surrounded by treacherous mossy boulders .
What a fabulous place and one we will return to again another time.
As well as a few images to edit, I have a couple of lovely bruises from slipping on the wet stones. Luckily my camera was in the bag and had a more cushioned fall.

Another great meal in the evening at The Sun Inn at Crook
