Thenue

St Thenue, aka Thenew or Enoch, was the mother of St Kentigern, aka Mungo, the patron saint of Glasgow. There is a mural representing a younger Thenue with the baby Mungo in Glasgow city centre and today's Blip of an older Thenue is a recent addition to Glasgow's east end.

I had seen a social media post about the new mural earlier this week and decided to visit it this afternoon. There was still a hoist nearby, so I am guessing that the mural has only recently been completed.
