Boswell

This statue of a rather jaunty looking James Boswell, friend, travelling companion and biographer of Dr Johnson stands in Lichfield market square, just a stone's throw from the house where Johnson was born (now a museum dedicated to him).

We were enjoying a post breakfast stroll in fresh sunshine before setting off home when he caught my eye.

A frustrating journey home with heavy traffic on the motorways constantly slowing down / stopping at every junction.
