Seaside

It is my husbands birthday today and he certainly had good weather for it.  Our grandson decided to sleep for 12 hours so his parents were pleased to have a longer lie in.  He tried eggy bread and then happily ate his porridge with raspberries, strawberries and yoghurt.  At lunchtime we had my husbands brother and son visiting for lunch and we had a good meal.  This was followed by a stroll to the beach this time walking from home.  The beach was very busy today maybe because it was sunnier and hotter.  There were kayaks and paddle boards in the sea and estuary.  We walked back home and had a chocolate birthday cake and tea before saying goodbye to my husbands brother and son.  It was good to see them and you certainly wonder when we will meet again given Covid and winter coming.
