Up and down

Its been a beautifully warm and sunny day and we all popped into Exmouth for a stroll around the Marina before they headed home.  Our grandson really appreciated the tranquil setting around the old harbour area, there was only a slight breeze and a few people were walking along the beach.  We wandered further around to the new part where looking up you can see the modern flats overlooking the estuary.  We wandered onto the small beach (Pirates Cove) and watched the sea gently lapping on the sandy beach.  We even saw a kingfisher quickly fly along the sea edge.  Our grandson fell asleep and we headed into town as his milk had been left behind and a lentil vegetable puree food was bought in a pouch.  This was fed to him back in the harbour area where I took a photo of the yacht reflections  in the water below or down.  We then retraced our steps back to the carpark and headed home.

They left for home later in the afternoon once they had packed all their items, it certainly takes them a lot longer now.
