Blackbird

I watched this little bird, a young Blackbird I think, first thing this morning as it sat on the wall with its feathers all fluffed up around it. Eventually it flew down under one of our feeding stations where it waited for small pieces of food to be dropped by the birds above. After quite a long time and consuming food it moved to one of the water bowls, then suddenly hopped away. I assume it had got cold overnight and needed food to get warm again.
   
The temperature today was twenty-five degrees Celsius at GMT noon.
