Hiding Out in the Cool

It's hard to completely capture the atmosphere. I walked into the shade of open bottom floor of the concrete building. Dogs were stomach down on the almost cool concrete, people moved slowly as to keep from sweating more than necessary.

Small shops were set up in rows, selling everything from clothes to shoes, hair dryers to earrings, and tattoos to copied DVDs. When the breeze blew, the shade was a bit cool. When the air stopped moving, the thick humidity surrounded us.

These kids, probably ranging in age from 5-11 years old, had found a remote control car to keep them occupied while their parents sat in their stalls, waiting for customers.
