Misty morning meanderings

Cousteau and I raced out the door this morning, rejoicing in the deliciously misty sunrise.

Off to the park we went for our morning constitutional; camera in hand.

Cousteau stopped to survey his surroundings; momentarily confused by its face-lift.

As we walked home, the sun started to shine through the morning fog, creating beautiful fingers of sunlight and warming up the scene.

What a wonderful way to start the day.

Later on, a lesson of silent reading was just that - silent. It was wonderful in the digital age to see 22 teenagers fixated on their books; silently devouring each word.

And that was Ash Wednesday.
