All Right Now

They say things happen in 3's so after having an oven fitted in the house, a new washing machine fitted in the croft house, today the new dishwasher was installed. The extra is our shiny new appliance.

Wife and daughter are going up to the croft house in October school week to close house for winter. My wife is staying 2 weeks but my daughter has to be back for school, so spent afternoon booking a flight from Stornoway to Glasgow, it would have been cheaper organising a city break in Europe.

My album of the day is "Tumbleweed Connection" by Elton John. He might be an old-guy with dodgy hair, but in the 70s he was an extraordinarily creative singer/songwriter. Based on a C&W/Americana theme with a cover shot taken just south of London, not exactly the Troubadour but well worth a listen.
