The Lozarithm Lens

Diary Blip (Tuesday 15th September 2020)

It's not much, but it is the first apple to grow on my young container bramley apple tree, in the patio area. It's already been attacked by grubs on the other side so I may not be eating it, but I felt the historic event should be recorded. The tree is intended to eventually take over from the very old and ailing apple tree that has always been here.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Stevie Wonder - Nothing's Too Good For My Baby (recorded 14 February 1966, Hitsville, Detroit MI)
Having struck gold with the single Uptight (Everything Is Alright), the same team was employed for the rather similar and frenetic Strevie Wonder follow-up. The Funk Brothers featuring James Jamerson, Benny Benjamin, the Andantes and the Four Tops. This stereo mix comes from the album Up-tight and was included on Greatest Hits, an album I heard today on my trawl through my Motown archives.
