Another from my quickly depleting Blip Bank is this derelect building in Castle Street, on a back road walk into town, not far from the rickety stairs blipped on Monday. Thanks to Marlieske for hosting Derelict Sunday. I like that entries can be taken on any day of the week (as with Miranda1008's Wild Flower Week) as it gives not only more flexibility and control, but, as a frequent back blipper, also means that if the blip is not uploaded on the day it was taken but later, there's less risk of missing out because the host has already gone through the entries making choices.
I'm not sure who owns the building but looking at a town plan it is possible that the other side of it lies behind the courtyard of the Lansdowne Strand on the main road, an old coaching inn from the days when horses rested on journeys between London and Bath.
A black and white version is in Extras.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
The Temptations - I Gotta Find A Way (To Get You Back) (completed 16 September 1966, Hitsville, Detroit MI)
This started out as the backing track for a song called He Who Picks A Rose in 1963. The Temptations recorded it with lead vocals by Eddie Kendricks and in 1968 recorded the lyric again with David Ruffin but this time with a new different tune (this was released on the album I Wish It Would Rain in 1968). Meanwhile a new set of lyrics had been applied to the 1963 track, namely I Gotta Find A Way. First recorded by Tammi Terrell, the first released version was again the Temptations, this time led by Dennis Edwards, on their Cloud Nine album. I've been playing Temptations records all week, including this track, completed 54 years ago this day.
I coincidentally learned this week that the earlier version from 1966 with the 1963 band track, this lyric and Eddie Kendricks' vocals has just been released for the first time, on A Cellarful Of Motown Vol. 5.  I immediately ordered it and it should arrive on Sunday. Synchronicity!
