Day 178 Indian Summer II

Th Indian summer continues with blue skies and plenty of sunshine.  Of course the lack of rain means that the garden needs to be watered, but at the moment I'm just happy to be able to spend so much time outside.  As localised restrictions continue to pop up many must be dreading the darker colder months ahead.  Here in the UK though, apparently if we are good, it might be possible to 'save Christmas'.  Meanwhile, the inability of the testing system to meet demand, seems to be reaching a crisis point.

My picture today is of our hawthorn tree which is gradually taking on its Autumn colours, set against  the lime green of the robinia and  a background of that beautiful blue sky.
