Bright Lights

Today’s been the best day of the year weather-wise (and good other-wise). Sunny, blue skies, not too hot, refreshing breeze. Beach nicely busy, people swimming.

My cousin and wife are staying down here for a few days. We caught up today and walked to Chineside. Luckily after a 2 minute wait, we got a table on the terrace. Lots to talk about. We last saw them at our big birthday 2 years ago. They have lived in Leeds since they married, but are selling up to move to London to be near to their daughters and grandkids. So hope we’ll see them more often.

Legs aching. We walked for ages. Frustrating when you are with fitter people and trying to keep up with them. Early night beckons.
