Ribaldry & Rambunctiousness

In which our hero discovers a theatrical era and movement of which he was hitherto largely ignorant, to wit: the exciting feminist playwrights of Queen Anne's time, who enlighten the theatrical gloom between the high tragedies (and inadvertent comedies) of Dryden, the bawdy filth of Rochester and the later witty age of Sheridan and Garrick. Our hero finds himself in the presence of much shocking ribaldry, cross dressing lewdness, profanity and rambunctiousness!
