Looking for a tasty morsel!

I don't ever remember seeing a heron on the river bank just across from the steps up to the Pollok House garden but there it was stalking very cautiously through the bed of reeds and grasses.

Intent on finding 'a little something' (to quote Winnie the Pooh) he never once looked in my direction but I most certainly looked in his!

Got my new glasses today ..... speedy service indeed having only had the test on Tuesday.
