River of Flowers

Friday: East Wind ...

... was supposed to be “gentle” according to the forecast, but it felt like “the lazy wind” that a colleague from years ago used to say “went straight through” her :-((
It’s so cold and windy that some of the trees nearby have lost all their leaves - our horse chestnut is hanging on to it’s leaves, it’s sheltered from the east wind by our garage.
I ventured into the garden a few times, watered the courgettes and popped over the road to chat with my old pal who’s doing some building work for our neighbours. After the days of sunshine it felt decidedly chilly ...
Indoors I’ve been doing some crochet, reading and listened to most of Tudur Owen’s radio show this afternoon https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00mj3tm - took a panad (cuppa) to MrD, who was busy in the garage, he was listening to the same programme!
Stay safe & healthy and happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
